There has been a little one that's been weighing heavily on our hearts lately. His name is Andrew. He is one year old, and missing both arms and legs. He is an orphan in the same country we're adopting Copeland from.
We have seen some videos of Andrew and he is a beautiful little boy, an absolute joy.
Our first prayer to God was could we bring him home too? But money to adopt Copeland and Andrew would be a huge challenge. And the time required once we got home with two little ones that need extra Dr.'s appointments was not going to happen with me working.
God answers prayers. On bended knee we asked God that he either open doors for us to adopt Andrew or his family find him.
Three days ago a more recent pic of Andrew was posted, and now a family has committed to bringing him home. Hallelujah! One less orphan.
This photo was taken when Andrew was just a few months old.
And this photo was taken less than two months ago.
It fills me with such joy and happiness to see God working. After we committed to Copeland, I found out that there were many people praying for his family to find him.
I had several people tell me that they were praying for us. Thank you. Thank you to everyone that prayed for us to find our Copeland. We are so happy that we get to be his parents. We are truly grateful to everyone who has prayed and donated thus far.
Now, let's start praying for another orphan's family to find them. I encourage you to look through the children listed on Reece's Rainbow and choose one child to pray for. It's so easy and could change a child's future forever.

I found your blog thru Reese's Rainbow and found them thru the FB page "Bringing Home the Browns". Copeland is such a beautiful child. Very happy to know that Copeland has a family in you. Andrew is so handsome! Thank you God for helping his family find their way to him. It makes me feel good to know that he will have a brighter future. I am personally praying for Darren, a little one who's time is running out and it's borrowed time at that. Thank you for encouraging me to continue hoping and praying for him. Many Blessings to you and your family. :)
ReplyDeleteJennifer, I would love to see Darren find his forever family too. Thank you for praying for him, he is a treasure waiting to be found.
